      Hi @kaboom2
Thanks very much for your question.
I found out about I’m a Scientist from looking on the internet for fun ways to talk to kids about science. When I was at school I liked science, but I didn’t realise there were jobs in science other than ‘science teacher’ really. I think if there had been something like this I would have liked science lessons even more, and realised even earlier that I wanted to be a scientist! Now I am a scientist I realise it’s REALLY COOL and fun and interesting, and I love talking about what I do so I’m keen to tell EVERYONE!

Hope that answers your question 🙂

I found out about I’m a Scientist through twitter. I had just started following @stephenemoss who works at my last university (UCL) and he tweeted that he was taking part in the previous one.

This time round I know a couple people taking part – its seems to really be taking off which is great. How did you first hear about it?

      Hi ya,

I saw the event advertised online during a session of random web surfing. It is amazing what exciting pages Google takes you to. I’m really glad I found out about it 🙂

I think I heard about it when my last University did a newsletter about the four scientists from there who were in it in March. (One of them won – go Joanna from York!) I really wanted to do it but I didn’t have time (I was moving house). But I wrote to the IAS people and said so, and now here I am!
