• Question: Can brains really mutate so that humans develop super powers like in X Men?

      I think it’s unlikely that this will happen, but being a scientist, I would not want to say that it would be impossible… 🙂

      It is possible that mutations could lead to beneficial changes to our brains. However, this would happen a tiny mutation at a time so we’d barely notice it happening and take millions of years. And I dont think the mutations would end up giving us superpowers – a bit disappointing I know!

      Were you hoping for a specific superpower?

      I agree with Rachael, but it would be fantastic if we could have superpowers. I would want to be able to move stuff with my thoughts, it would be like everything had a remote control! How about you, what super power would you want?
