• Question: do are genes have anything to do with are personality?

      This is a great question.
      At the moment the consensus is that genes probably ARE involved in our personalities, but finding out which ones, and how will take a long time, and be really difficult.
      Also, it is very unlikely that genes are the only thing that define our personality, genes can often interact with the environment, and if genes were the only thing that determined our personality then identical twins would have identical personalities. I have twin nieces, and I can assure you they’re quite different from each other 🙂
