      I don’t do any heart research personally, but I work on a large data set called Children of the 90s, and there are other scientist colleagues of mind working on heart research.

      Hi @rebecca140,
      No, I don’t do any heart research.

      However, other neuroscientists do as the heart has a special nervous system of its own that acts as a pacemaker. Neurons pass messages to one another and to muscles by electrical signals that we call “action potentials”. In the heart, special “nodes” create action potentials to make the heart muscles contract in unison, making it beat regularly and pump blood efficiently around the body.

      No I don’t do any heart research. I think the last time I looked at anything to do with the heart was when I was in school. You probably know more about the heart than I can remember 🙂
