• Question: Do you prefer to collect research by doing something like I'm A Scientist where you have everything in one place or actually going out and finding people to talk to?

      Hi @morgancope
Using the participants of I’m a Scientist could be a cool way to do some research, as you have people from different schools all over the country. So it would be possible to do something interesting.

Quite often when looking for people to test, we have to make do with people near the University we work at, who are willing to take part. This means the people we test will probably all be quite similar to each other, and not that similar to the whole country.

In order to run and experiment on I’m a Scientist though, you’d need to think up a good question before it starts, as you only have 2 weeks to do your data collection!

Can you think of a good question that could be investigated using I’m a Scientist??

      Hi

Using I’m a scientist to collect data is a cool idea! maybe we should think up something to study for a future one?

I use worms rather than people for my experiments though so I’m not sure how good they would be at using the internet – crawling around on a petri dish is more their idea of fun I’m afraid!
