• Question: do you think that one day humans could be controlled by a computer?

      We can already control human’s muscle movements by stimulating the parts of the brain that control different muscles. We could definitely control people’s movement by computer, but I’m not sure if we will ever be able to control people’s thoughts. We would need to understand a lot more about how the brain works than we do now.

      Great question! I don’t know, I think that one day maybe it would be possible for humans to have their bodies controlled by machines, but I hope we can never have our minds controlled by them – that would be scary. Also, I agree with Tim that we don’t understand the brain anywhere near well enough yet!
