• Question: Does a jelly fish have a brain?

      No a jellyfish doesn’t have a brain or a central nervous system, but they have a net of connected nerves instead. I have a feeling you already knew that 🙂

      The worms I study are similar to jellyfish in that they dont have a brain, just neurons – 302 to be exact – someone counted them.

      Quite a lot of animals only have a system of neurons and nerves as they only perform very basic things like look for food, find food and then eat food so they dont really need brains in the same way that we do!
