      Hi rose23,

The brain sends electrical signals around the body using a network of neurons, what we call the nervous system. You have learnt how to produce electricity in different parts of your brain that control different parts of your body, making you able to move your arm for example. Importantly there are other parts of your body that your brain controls, but you don’t – like your heart rate which your brain controls for you.

You can find lots more information on the central nervous system online 🙂

      Hi @rose23 and @lilsimmo
      Great question!

Tim’s explanation here is great! The brain has control over almost all of your body – pretty amazing huh?

Hope this helps, do ask if you want more info 🙂
