      Thanks for this question, it’s great.
      Marijuana can make people feel high, because it affects chemical levels in the brain, and physiological responses in the body. Physiological responses mean heart rate and bloody pressure. These can lead to feelings of anxiety or paranoia, because the brain can’t understand why the body is reacting like that.

      The active substances in cannabis also react with receptors in the brain which lead to the relaxation feelings that you get as well. These can also make paranoia feelings worse as well though.
