      Hi @justiekeeling7
By the time you get to University, your GCSE results are less important, and your A-Levels become more important. However, I believe you need a certain number of GCSEs to get in to schools to do A-Levels (I think 5 GCSEs at grades A-C, but I’m not sure – maybe ask in your school). So it’s best to get as many as possible, as good as you can!

Good luck! Hope this helps 🙂

      Hi @justiekeeling7

I agree with Suzi. It’s best to get a many good GCSE grades as you can, but all is not lost if you don’t get many. Some adults go to university much later in life and some of them don’t have GCSEs or A-levels, you can do something called an Access course which tries to make sure you have the knowledge you need to start a degree. I know a few scientists that went to university that way! 🙂
