• Question: how many muscles are in your brain?

      Hi @chloetaylorx
      There are no muscles actually in the brain (I don’t think), but there are lots of muscles in the head – which control how your mouth, nose, eyes and ears work. Your tongue is a muscle in your head too.

      I agree with Suzi, there are no actual muscles in the brain. Sometimes people misleadingly call the brain a muscle because we need to use it to build it up, but muscles are really tissues that contract and the brain doesn’t contract. Although sometimes it may feel like it does when you are thinking really hard 😀
