• Question: how young can you be to get cancer? if a mother and her dad had cencer will the daughter get it?

      I’m afraid that people of pretty much any age can get cancer. Some are more common in children, like leukemia. Although it might be true that likelihood to get cancer is passed down in families, it doesn’t necessarily mean that a daughter will get cancer if it’s been in her family.

      If a person is thought to be at a high risk of getting cancer, they can get checked more often by the doctor. If they do develop cancer it can be caught earlier, giving them a better chance of beating it.
