• Question: If listerine and other mouthwashes kill off bacteria in your mouth then can over use of them kill off all bacteria in your mouth?

      Ooh, I don’t know, maybe it could.

      I know that some medicines which kill bacteria can also kill off the ‘good’ bacteria that live in your stomach for example. Some drugs can target specific bacteria, so maybe mouthwash works like this.

      I don’t know which is the correct answer though I’m afraid, but thanks for the question, it’s a good one. I hope someone else knows the answer because I’d like to know 🙂
