      Hi @alcfashion

You are losing brain cells (neurons) and altering the connections between neurons from the day you are born. However, you have to hit your head very hard to kill enough neurons to lose part of your brain. Your brain is actually protected by the skull, 3 layers of tissue and the fluid (cerebrospinal fluid) that it floats in. People obviously do suffer brain damage from very hard hits to the head, but most of us have hit our heads at some time and suffered no ill effects.

Nevertheless I wouldn’t go around head butting any brick walls 🙂

      Hi @alcfashion

I think Tim’s advice about brick walls is very sensible 🙂
