I have heard this too, and I don’t think it is true. It may be that occasionally they get in your mouth, but I think a ticklish spider on you would wake you up!Even if we do though, they obviously don’t do us any harm 🙂
Ew, it’s not nice to think about though is it? Do you like spiders?

Like Suzi I don’t think this is true. Although I guess it depends where you live, if you live in a room with a spiders nest… I don’t want to even think about it!
I must swallow 1 or 2 flies every time I go out on my bike, may be swallowing some spiders wouldn’t be so bad they can catch the flies…. 🙂
Oh no this is turning into a song… there was an old lady that swallowed a fly… You’ll have that tune in your head all day now – I know I will 🙂

when I was little apparently I used to play with spiders, but now I don’t really like them! Too spindly and weird…
