• Question: my friend died suddenly of brain damage when he was about 9 years old but he was healthy so how do you think it happened? (i dont think he hit his head or anything)

      I’m very sorry to hear about your friend. I’m afraid I don’t know why this would have happened. It may have been that the damage was always there, but it was only when he reached a certain age that it had such an awful effect.

      But I don’t know why it would have happened I’m afraid.

      I’m really sorry to hear about your friend too.

      I dont know how it happened. Sometimes the blood vessels that take blood to your brain can break suddenly and this can cause brain damage because your brain needs a lot of oxygen which is supplied by blood. No one really knows why this happens and its quite rare but lots of people are studying it now to try and prevent it in the future.
