      I think the moderators probably took out the ‘can taking d’ question, so don’t worry!

      This is a great question.
      Some forms of dementia seemed to be linked to illicit drug use, and alcohol use over a long period of time. Or indeed some combinations of prescription medicine can lead to an increased risk of dementia.

      However, sometimes drug use when you’re younger can lead to a feeling of depression when you’re older, which can look like dementia but is actually something different (and treatable).
