      Hello,

I found the developing brain very interesting and it is useful from a practical point of view to look at the brain while it is growing, it makes it easier to work out the connections and the context the cell are in over time. To be honest though, the main reason I am doing it is because it was the work they did my lab when I arrived. While later on in a PhD you can pretty much get free reign, at the start it is best to do what your supervisor suggests.

      I hope this helps.

      Thanks.
