Question: when you have cancer, the treatment you get will give you hair loss, when you hopefully recover and your hair grows back why can it grow back a different colour or texture?

  I’m afraid I don’t know why it grows back different colours or textures. Tim, Simon or Damien, do you know if it’s also true if men shave their heads that hair can grow back different?
  
  Sorry I can’t help with this one, I’d be interested to know the answer though…

  You wouldn’t want to see me with a shaved head, so I haven’t tried it! I do know a few people with shaved heads, but no-one who’s shaved their hair off and then let it grow back. Sorry!
