  This is a really good question. It’s hard to work out because people most often smoke cannabis with tobacco as well, so it’s hard to tease this apart. Often when people smoke ‘joints’ they get more harmful substances entering their body because they don’t use a filter as they would with a cigarette, and also hold the smoke in their lungs for longer.
  
  Some of the effects of cannabis are still unknown as well, so this makes it hard to judge as well.
  
  Smoking either is bad for you though!
