• Question: why do people get ulcers and colesaws?

      Cold sores are actually a virus – the herpes virus, and they’re really contagious. Although I think some people must be immune, as my boyfriend has cold sores a lot and I’ve never had one, even though I let him kiss me (!)

      As for ulcers I’m not sure. I know that some mouth ulcers can be brought on by stress, and that a lack of vitamins in your diet can make you more likely to get them, but otherwise I’m not sure.

      Maybe Tim knows more?
