      Feeling ‘happy’ isn’t one of the effects of ketamine that I knew about (I won’t ask you whether you’ve tried it and can comment!).
      A common feeling is a ‘floating’ sensation, as well as changes to your perception, such as hallucinations.

      Ketamine is a tranquiliser, used by vets to knock horses out when they operate on them. So it numbs you if you take it. This can lead people to do silly things and injuring themselves without realising (the combination of hallucinations, and an inability to feel pain is a very dangerous one)!
