• Question: why is it cancer can spread to different parts of the body?

      Cancer can spread in the blood or in the lymph system (another system of fluid that runs round your body). Otherwise cancerous cells can grow in to other areas of the body.

      This is why doctors try and catch cancer as early as they can, so they can stop it before it can spread. It’s not always possible to do so though.
