• Question: why when we hope we get a feeling in our tummy and then when we get it we are all jolly and happy but when we dont we go all depressed, annoyed or upset?

      Thanks for this question. Emotions can lead the body to have what’s called a physiological response as well as feelings. This means things like increased heart rate, or blood pressure, and this can cause the ‘butterfly’ feeling.

      But I would say you sometimes get these sensations with other emotions. If you get really angry your face goes red, and sometimes you can get a feeling in your stomach, same with when you’re upset.
