      Three questions in one – wow!

      You may hear of me on the news. I have been on the BBC news a couple of times measuring children’s brain activity, not talking though. I was once interviewed as well, but the footage wasn’t aired. I’m definitely not famous like Einstein otherwise you would have heard of be before going on “I’m a scientist”.

      Pregnant women shouldn’t drink alcohol (or only drink very little) because it can harm their unborn baby. There is a good wiki page on the effects of this; it is called Foetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS)

      I’m not sure why pregnant women get cravings, people often say that it is because they require something in their diet that they are not getting enough of, but I don’t know if this is true. I’m sure there is lots of research on this if you search for it though.
