• Question: Would a proffesional footballers brain be different to mine

      Yes, because everyone’s brains are different!
      But also, an adult’s brain is different from a teenager’s brain.
      Also, when you do something repeatedly every day, your brain can adapt. For example, farmers who have a flock of sheep can tell their sheep apart, whereas you or I wouldn’t be able to. And while they do this, the part of their brain that recognises HUMAN faces is active!

      As footballers spend a lot of time accurately kicking balls, the area in their brain that controls eyesight and the part of the brain that controls movements are likely to be highly connected, probably more so than for you.

      But if you wanted to be a professional footballer and you played as much football as them, you would develop these connections too!
