• Question: you said that with the money you would use it for brian injuries, does this include brain cancer? if so how would you help with cancer? and what are the symptoms?

      Hi @georgie98

      Thats a really good question.

      The day centre I volunteer for doesnt have any people with brain cancer (or brain tumors) going to it. Instead, they have mainly hit their heads in car crashes, falls, fights etc. Some have had a stoke. There are lots of other groups who help people with brain tumors and it is definitely a very important thing to do.

      I havent ever worked on cancer myself so I’m afraid I cant tell you much about it or how I would help. I did know an amazing professor a while back who studied brain tumors in children. Her name was Denise Sheer and she was funded by this charity:

      This is a really good website with lots of info on so worth having a look as it may answer some of your questions better than I can.
